Our special guest today is Hannah Dinh from Vietnam. Hannah is now working for Facebook based in Dublin, Ireland. She completed her study at Waikato University and earned a Master of Management in Finance.
Tell us about your study experience?
Coming from a girl in a mountainous province in Vietnam, I always dreamt of the opportunity to study abroad. Then I tried my best to get a full scholarship to study in New Zealand. I had two amazing years in New Zealand to learn, grow and expand my network.

What advice would you give to someone starting your course?
Ask whenever you need help. Join a club and get involved in school activities
What is your job now?
I’m a Journalist.
Did you find it easy to get a job after graduation?
Yes, but I had to build and seek good contacts in my network.
How did you get from your institution to where you are now?
After graduation, I got a job offer in Singapore, I then moved to Microsoft Singapore. After three years, I moved to Ireland to work for Facebook. After getting a scholarship to study here, I also founded a platform HannahEd Scholarship for Vietnamese students to provide information regarding studying abroad for over 400,000 members and inspire them to develop themselves.

Have you been affected by COVID-19?
Not so much. I am lucky to work for a company which is not significantly affected by Covid-19. Besides, my project “scholarship for Vietnamese students” is mainly online.
